Hi, I'm Mesia.

I started Happily Baked in 2024 with a simple idea: a custom cake should taste as good as it looks. I bake every single cake myself, from scratch, in my kitchen in DeFuniak Springs, and I deliver them up and down the Emerald Coast.

No two of my cakes are the same, because no two of your celebrations are. Whether it is a first birthday, a wedding, or a Tuesday that just needed cake, I design it around you and put my whole heart into it. That is the whole thing. That is why it is called Happily Baked.

How far in advance should I order?
The sooner the better, especially for weddings and holidays. A deposit is what holds your date, and dates go quickly in season. Final flavors and details are due 14 days before your event.
What does it cost?
Smash cakes start at $75, cupcakes at $40 a dozen, celebration cakes at $150, and wedding cakes at $500 as a designed package. Every cake is made for one celebration, so those are starting points. Send me your details and I will quote the real number.
How do deposits and payments work?
A $75 deposit confirms your date and comes off your balance. The rest is due before your event. Everything runs through Square.
Do you deliver?
I deliver myself, all along the Emerald Coast. Delivery is quoted with your cake based on where it is going, so just tell me the address on the order form and I will include it.
Can I pick up my cake?
Yes, at the Starbucks in DeFuniak Springs. I offer pickup for smash cakes, cupcakes, and single tier cakes. Tiered cakes I deliver myself, because they need a flat surface and a steady ride to arrive the way you imagined them.
Do you make allergy friendly cakes?
Tell me your restrictions on the order form and I will be honest about what I can safely make. I bake in a home kitchen, so I cannot guarantee an allergen free environment.
What if I need to cancel or change my order?
Deposits hold your date and are not refundable, since booking you means turning down other cakes for that day. Changes are usually fine up to 14 days out.
